Plate, Block and Wear- PACpipe
PACpipe is a Chromium Carbide (CrC) pipe designed for conveying abrasive slurries and bulk materials. In practical tests, PACpipe has a wear life up to 10 times longer than regular carbon steel pipe, with overlay hardness at 55 HRC and above.
A highly versatile product, PACpipe is available in a wide range of dimensions and configurations to meet all your needs:

Advantages
CQMS Razers PACpipe Chromium Carbide wear pipe provides excellent resistance to severe abrasion, erosion and impact in many practical applications. It significantly extends service life, extending planned maintenance periods, where material flow causes wear in critical parts of the conveyance system. It is easy to install, can be custom designed and fabricated to improve the system pipe design or solve specific replacement problems.
Features
PACpipe uses IP pipe overlay, an application approach that is the best option for small diameter pipe. It is often impractical for large diameter pipe.
PACpipe is manufactured to strict tolerances, including leadring torch angles and proper bead overlap, to ensure discontinuities such as porosity and lack of fusion are avoided.
Note the leading angle and torch position (refer to photo 1) relative to the bottom of the pipe where solidification is completed. The resultant weld is inherently a more sound process than fabricating a flat plate into a small diameter pipe, considering the amount of deformation necessary and the tremendous difference in ductility.
PACpipe displays a uniformity of the crack pattern for equal dissipation of stresses and maximum adherence. Photo 2 shows more detail.
